Intense NATO air activity in the Black sea theatre

Today, we are witnessing intense NATO aerial activity in the Black Sea region.

A USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 11-2046 – c/s FORTE15), taking off from NAS Sigonella, is conducting a SIGINT mission over the central Black Sea (moving towards the eastern part).

Along the Romanian coast, a USN Boeing P-8A, also taking off from NAS Sigonella, and a Turkish Air Force Boeing E-7T (reg. 13-002 – c/s TURAF42), taking off from Konya Air Base, are in operation.

Over the Black Sea (near the Bulgarian and Romanian coasts), a French Navy Breguet Atlantique ATL.2 (reg.11), taking off from Souda Bay AB, is also operating.
