This morning, the US Navy planned at least three missions in the area we usually monitor.
Two of these missions originated from Boeing P-8As based at NAS Sigonella: the first one headed towards the Black Sea, where it will orbit over the Danube Delta, while the second Poseidon is en route to the Eastern Mediterranean.
The third mission involves a Lockheed EP-3E (reg. 161410) that took off from Souda Bay heading south, conducting a SIGINT mission off the coast of Libya.
Lastly, we note that the P-8A that had been based at Souda in recent days (from where it conducted a mission over the Black Sea) has returned to Sigonella.
