An Italian Air Force Boeing KC-767A (reg. MM62228) is landing at this moment (15:20 CEST) at the Pratica di Mare base, south of Rome. The aircraft is completing a rotation carried out at Rzeszów airport in Poland, from where it had taken off this morning at 05:58 CEST.
Although we do not know the nature of the flight, given the destination, we cannot help but speculate that the aircraft may have delivered military equipment destined for Ukraine (Rzeszów is indeed the hub for Western military aid to Kyiv). It has been some time since we last tracked such a flight, but the Italian government has consistently kept these types of missions under wraps, never declaring what kind of military materials are being delivered to Ukraine.
