Yesterday, we tracked a pair of USAF Boeing B-52H bombers (c/s LIVID11/12) flying over the Mediterranean as they traveled from the USA to the Middle East.

This afternoon, a similar scenario unfolded, with two Boeing B-52H bombers (reg. 60-0056, 60-0017, c/s BARF21/22) taking off from Minot Air Force Base in the USA and heading, like yesterday’s aircraft, to Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. At least one more pair is expected to carry out the same repositioning flight later tonight.

B-52 Stratofortress strategic bombers from Minot Air Force Base’s 5th Bomb Wing arrived in the US Central Command area of responsibility” the Command stated in a post on X on November 3.

A Pentagon spokesperson added, “Should Iran, its partners, or its proxies use this moment to target American personnel or interests in the region, the United States will take every measure necessary to defend our people.”
