There’s a lot of movement this morning over the skies of the Mediterranean. A transfer is currently underway of around ten USAF F-16s returning to the U.S. from the Gulf, departing from Al-Udeid Air Base.
Specifically, there are four USAF Boeing aircraft split into two separate sections, each accompanying the F-16s, which are also divided into two groups.
In detail:
- Boeing KC-46A (reg. 21-46058 & 21-46092 – call signs BLUE01/02) accompanying the first section of 6 F-16s (c/s TABOR31/2/3/4/5/6)
- Boeing KC-46A (reg. 21-46089 & 16-46023) accompanying a second section of 4 F-16s (c/s TABOR41/2/3/4).
