In-Flight Refueling Mission Over Eastern Romania

In-flight refueling mission currently underway for an Italian Air Force Boeing KC-767A (reg. MM62227 – c/s BREUS02) over eastern Romania.

The aircraft took off from Pratica di Mare Air Base around 13:30 and is currently (15:20) operating in the designated mission area.

Although not visible on tracking websites, NATO fighter jets are present over Romania conducting CAP (Combat Air Patrol) missions and are regularly refueled by tankers from allied countries.
