RAF Typhoons on task

New Operation Shader mission in progress this evening for RAF aircraft based in RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus.

A couple of Typhoon FGR.4 (of which only one is trackable, ZK439) left the air base with an Airbus KC.2 (reg. ZZ334) southbound.

The aircraft are flying toward the area between Iraq and Syria, where they are conducting ground-attack missions against ISIS positions. It is important to emphasize that these missions are not connected to the ongoing crisis in Syria over the past two days.
