The (hasty) Russian withdrawal from Syria continues.

Flights between Russia and Syria are continuing these days. The impression is that the Russians are quickly repatriating their equipment to Syria.

In this context, an interesting flight arrived this morning at the Khmeimim airbase, near Latakia. The aircraft in question, an Antonov An-124 (registration RA-82037), took off yesterday evening around 11:30 PM CET from the Syrian base, landed in Russia (it is not possible to pinpoint the exact airport, but it is located in the Pyatigorsk region), unloaded, and immediately departed again for Syria.

The flight was therefore operated as close as possible to Russia and took off for Syria without wasting any time, which suggests that the Russian repatriation is proceeding very quickly.
