The air bridge between Russia, Syria, and Libya continues

Last night, a Russian Air Force Ilyushin Il-76MD (reg. RA-78835) most likely took off (as the tracking data is incomplete) from Al Khadim Air Base and headed to Latakia Air Base in Syria. From there, it continued its journey to Russia.

The frequent movement of Russian aircraft between Syria and Libya has become quite common and likely indicates the transfer of equipment from the Middle Eastern country to the North African one, following Moscow’s ongoing withdrawal from Syria.
