Today, a French Navy Breguet Atlantique ATL.2 (reg. 25) took off from Souda Bay Air Base for a surveillance mission over the Black Sea.
During its mission in the operational area, the aircraft turned off its ADS-B transponder, but we were able to track at least some data from the mission. We know that the Atlantique flew over the Black Sea for about three hours, from 10:42 CET to 13:43 CET, before returning to base.

This comes just a few days after another Atlantique aircraft from the French Navy was illuminated by a Russian air defense system in the Baltic region.
