For over two hours, this Russian Air Force Antonov An-124 (reg. RA-82038) has been orbiting over Latakia Airport, Syria.

It is possible that it is waiting for landing clearance, which is evidently delayed.

This is one of the aircraft involved in an ongoing air bridge between Russia, Syria, and Libya.

Unfortunately, we do not have a complete track of the flight, but it appears to be coming from the south, suggesting it may have arrived from Cyrenaica. However, it is important to note that we do not have additional tracking data to confirm this.
