Last night, a US Navy Northrop Grumman MQ-4C (reg. 169660) took off from NAS Sigonella and operated off the coast of Libya, repeatedly covering the entire stretch of the North African country’s coastline while remaining in international airspace.

Notably, the drone orbited for about half an hour over a specific area of the sea where the Russian submarine Krasnodar may have been navigating.

This morning, around 10:00 CET, it was replaced by the “usual” US Army Challenger 650 ARTEMIS (reg. N488CR), which took off from Romania.
