Eyes on Odesa

Last night, we tracked a surveillance mission conducted by an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62229) off the Romanian coast while Odesa was the target of a heavy Russian airstrike.

This afternoon, two more NATO assets are operating in the area.

The first is an RAF Boeing RC-135W (reg. ZZ666), which took off from RAF Waddington and is currently orbiting over the Black Sea off the Romanian coast. Meanwhile, a US Army Gulfstream 650 ARTEMIS (reg. N488CR, c/s BRIO68) is conducting another SIGINT mission along the Romania-Moldova-Ukraine border.
