Yesterday evening, the transfer of 12 USAF Lockheed Martin F-22s (callsign TABOR) from the United States to Jordan was completed.
The aircraft made an initial stop at RAF Lakenheath before continuing their journey to Jordan yesterday morning.

A first group of 8 F-22s departed the UK in the late morning, followed by the remaining 4 in the afternoon.

The deployment was supported by a Boeing KC-46A (reg. 22-46100, c/s GOLD03) which took off from RAF Mildenhall. This tanker provided aerial refueling over eastern Sicily (almost aligned with NAS Sigonella) before landing at Morón AB in Spain.

Additionally, a Boeing KC-135R (reg. 62-3580) took off from Morón and escorted the fighters as far as the eastern Mediterranean.

For now, all 12 F-22s are stationed at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, awaiting further developments in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
