USAF tankers are back in the Gulf

At least six USAF tankers took off from Ramstein this afternoon. The aircraft in question are six Boeing KC-46A tankers that departed from the American base en route to the Persian Gulf, specifically to Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar:

20-46076 (RCH846)

20-46073 (RCH865)

15-46067 (RCH843)

21-46087 (RCH842)

15-46069 (RCH845)

The base had been evacuated prior to the U.S. strike on Iran and was, in fact, targeted by Iranian missile launches—none of which hit the facility.
The return of the aircraft is yet another sign that the situation in the area is gradually returning to normal—at least for now.
