The Italian Navy frigate Carabiniere (F593) is currently engaged in Operation “Mare Sicuro”. The operation involves the deployment of a maritime military asset to ensure presence and surveillance activities, in accordance with national legislation and existing international agreements.

This morning, in the Eastern Mediterranean, we tracked a flight by an Italian Navy NH Industries SH-90A helicopter (reg. MM81577). The aircraft is based on board the Carabiniere, which is currently operating off the coasts of Egypt and Israel, in a particularly sensitive area.

It is worth noting that, once again in the Eastern Mediterranean, we have tracked in recent days a couple of missions conducted by an Italian Air Force ATR P-72A, which is temporarily deployed at Souda Bay Air Base in Crete.
