At this time, the Russian flotilla known as the “Syrian Express” is transiting through the Strait of Sicily.

As previously reported, this formation includes the corvette Boikiy, which is escorting two Russian logistics vessels: the cargo ship Sparta and the tanker General Skobelev, both of which departed from Syria and are now en route back to Russia.

The ships are proceeding at a speed of approximately 10 knots toward Gibraltar, where they will exit the Mediterranean.
