Two U.S. Air Force Boeing C-32A aircraft (SAM227 – reg. 99-0004 and AF2 – reg. 98-0001) are tracked this morning crossing Europe en route to Italy before heading toward the Eastern Mediterranean.

According to flight information and U.S. media reports, one of the two aircraft – Air Force Two (AF2) – is carrying U.S. Vice President J. D. Vance, bound for Tel Aviv.

The visit comes amid renewed efforts by Washington to maintain the fragile ceasefire in Gaza and to encourage dialogue between Israel and regional partners.

The twin C-32As departed from the United States earlier today, crossed the Atlantic and Europe, and are now descending toward central Italy for a brief technical stop before continuing to Israel.

Such flights usually involve both the official aircraft and a support aircraft carrying staff and security personnel.
