Today an Italian Air Force Lockheed Martin C-130J (reg. MM62179, c/s IAM4619) completed a transport mission from Pisa San Giusto AB to Rzeszów–Jasionka Airport in southeastern Poland.

The aircraft departed around 09:50 CET and crossed Austria and Slovakia before reaching Rzeszów, the main NATO logistical hub used for routing military aid to Ukraine. Since the start of the Russian invasion, the airport has been the primary entry point for equipment and supplies provided by Western countries.

After a short stop on the ground, the C-130J retraced its route back to Italy.

This flight is part of Italy’s ongoing contribution to supporting Kyiv, with the 46th Air Brigade regularly tasked to deliver military material destined for Ukrainian forces or for allied units assisting with logistics in the area.

While no official details have been released regarding today’s cargo, the destination and the nature of the mission indicate that it was connected to the continuous flow of military aid to Ukraine.
