This morning an Italian Air Force KC-767A (MM62226), flying as IAM1433, completed a new logistic mission between Italy and Poland. The aircraft departed from Pratica di Mare before heading northeast along a direct route to Rzeszów–Jasionka, the main hub used by Western countries to channel military assistance to Ukraine.
After a short stop on the ground in Poland, the tanker retraced its route back to Italy, landing again at Pratica di Mare in the early afternoon.
Flights of this type have become increasingly frequent over the past months, underlining Italy’s continued contribution to the coordinated support effort for Kyiv. The KC-767A fleet, usually employed for aerial refuelling duties, is often tasked with transport missions to Rzeszów thanks to its large cargo capacity and operational flexibility.
Although the exact nature of today’s cargo remains unknown, the mission fits into the regular pattern of logistic activity conducted by several NATO countries through the Polish airport, which remains a key gateway for supplies destined for Ukraine.
