This afternoon, the skies over the Mediterranean were the stage for yet another massive transit of US strategic forces. Through flight tracking, we monitored the passage of a US Air Force Bomber Task Force (BTF), consisting of heavy and supersonic strategic bombers, fully operational within the context of the current bombing campaign.
All aircraft appear to have taken off from the British base of RAF Fairford, which has now become the main European hub for American attack sorties towards the Middle East. From there, they tracked a southern route, flying over the airspace of France, before entering the western Mediterranean and crossing the entire basin heading east.
Tracking Details and Combat Configuration
The aircraft package monitored this afternoon consists of two different formations:
- Boeing B-52H Stratofortress (Callsigns: ARNIE24 and ARNIE25): The two heavy bombers (registrations 60-0012 and 60-0060) crossed the central Mediterranean. Their last trackable plot by ADS-B receivers dates back to about two hours ago when they were in the Eastern Mediterranean, south of Greece. From that moment, they turned off their transponders to enter the operational theater.
- Rockwell B-1B Lancer (Reg: 85-0072 and 86-0121): Currently, on the same flight path, tracking systems are monitoring the flight of two variable-sweep supersonic bombers.
Videos of the takeoffs from RAF Fairford, circulated and analyzed in recent hours through OSINT sources, visually confirm the combat configuration of the aircraft and the identification of the weapons payload on board.
Destination: Iran
The trajectory followed and the deactivation of the tracking systems in the Eastern Mediterranean confirm the approach to the CENTCOM area of responsibility, with a direct route towards Iran.
In the context of the open conflict that has been inflaming the region for 20 days now, this joint deployment of B-52Hs and B-1Bs is exclusively part of the continuation of ground attack operations. Washington continues to employ its top-tier strategic assets to saturate defenses and strike deep into Iranian military infrastructure.

Two B-1Bs were seen visually over Cornwall, SW England at 12UTC on 20/3/26, refuelling off three KC-135s that were also visible on ADS. The B-1Bs departed in a SW direction, so perhaps took a route over the Atlantic and Straits of Gibralter.
Why are they transmitting their aircraft ID
What idiots are in charge?????????????
