This morning around 07:00 CEST an Hellenic Air Force Lockheed C-130H (reg. 751 – callsign T8Z) left Elefsis AB, near Athens, for a strange flight.
The plane made a circular flight, first flying over the island of Rhodes, then passing over Crete and finally flying over the Peloponnese before returning to its base.
During the whole flight the plane remained around an altitude of about 24 thousand feet, taking a regular course except in one point, south of Crete, where it made a detour.
It is the second time that the aircraft uses the callsign T8Z (the other time it was last September), we do not know if this code indicates a test flight.
