New day of surveillance mission in the Black Sea theatre.

They took off from Sigonella:

  • NATO Northrop Grumman RQ-4D (reg. MM-AV-SA0016) bound for the Black Sea (where it operates, unlike USAF drones, with the ADS-B transponder switched off);
  • USNavy Boeing P-8A that will carry out a surveillance mission near the Romanian coast
