New afternoon of missions in the Black Sea theatre.
Different NATO assets are currently engaged in the sector:
- Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62303 – call sign PERSEO71), departed from Pratica di Mare AB, which is carrying out an aerial surveillance mission over eastern Romania;
- USAF Boeing KC-135R (reg. 63-8878 – callsign CASA21) refuelling USMC McDonnel Douglas F/A-18C over northern Romania;
- USNavy Lockheed EP-3E (reg. 160764), which took off from Souda Bay AB, carrying out a surveillance mission off the Romanian coast;
- USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 11-2046 – callsign FORTE10) taken off from NAS Sigonella, flying over the Black Sea south of Crimea.
