At least two US assets are currently heading towards the Black Sea area to carry out surveillance missions:

  • USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 10-2045 – callsign FORTE11) departed from NAS Sigonella;
  • USNavy Lockheed EP-3E (reg. 159893) took off from Souda Bay AB
