After two weeks of absence, the USS Gerald Ford (CVN-78) has returned to the southern Adriatic.

During these two weeks, the US aircraft carrier first spent a few days in Piraeus, where the crew could rest, then headed to the central Mediterranean, where it operated off the eastern coast of Libya and later in the Ionian Sea.

As of today, it has returned to its “classic” area of operations, where its aircraft assets can also operate to monitor the eastern flank of the Atlantic Alliance.
