The Italian expedition’s journey in North America continues towards Alaska, where Italian Typhoons will participate in the Red Flag 2024 exercise.
All four KC-767A tankers of the Italian Air Force are engaged in this journey, making intermediate stops at Lajes, Azores, and Pease ANGB.
Two of them (MM6228/9) arrived alongside a Lockheed C-130J (reg. MM62193) and six Typhoons at McChord Air Force Base, south of Seattle. The six Typhoons are as follows:
- MM7327 – 36th Wing (from Gioia del Colle AB)
- MM7331 – 36th Wing (from Gioia del Colle AB)
- MM7341 – 4th Wing (from Grosseto AB)
- MM7347 – 37th Wing (from Trapani AB)
- MM7350 – 4th Wing (from Grosseto AB)
- MM7356 – 51st Wing (from Istrana AB)
