An US Navy Lockheed EP-3E “Aries II” ( 156511 ) departed from Souda Bay AB, Crete, is making a surveillance mission over Central Mediterranean Sea off Libya (and maybe also over Libya).

We’ve more data to say where exactly the Aries is making its mission.

The EP-3E is not a rare presence in this area.

The Lockheed EP-3E is the signals reconnaissance version of the P-3 Orion, operated by the United States Navy
