Today the USS Eisenhower (CVN-69) Carrier Strike Group crossed the Strait of Gibraltar and arrives in the Mediterranean.
Eisenhower’s deployment is the first for the more than 40-year-old carrier after the end of its latest repair period tripled to 18-months.
The entry into Mediterranean Sea of the Eisenhower CSG was escorted by a US Navy Boeing P-8A
