Yesterday a USNavy Lockheed EP-3E “Aries II” ( 160764 ) departed from Souda Bay AB made an usual SIGINT (Signals intelligence  is intelligence-gathering by interception of signals, whether communications between people or from electronic signals not directly used in communication) mission in Tripoli are and on western Libya.

The aircraft is departed from Souda around 09:00 CET. We’ve not a track of the Aries in the area of operations but we can indicate the zone with a good precision because it was tracked both by a received located in Malta and another located in Tripoli.
