In the last days the sky over the central Mediterranean sea was really very busy: Italian, Turkish, French, Greek and US planes made different missions.
Today a new actor have made a mission in this area: an Israeli Air Force Gulfstream V “Nachshon Shavit” (684) departed from Nevatim AB made, this morning, an ISR mission off Tunisia and Libya flying always into international airspace.
In the past we’ve tracked Israeli planes in this area but only making training missions (touch & go) in Malta.
It’s the first time that we’ve tracked an Israeli operational mission in this area.
