Yesterday we’ve tracked a part of a new IRINI mission when a  Swearingen Metroliner SW-4 (N919CK) departed from Sigonella AB making an usual patrol mission off eastern Libya.

The aircraft left Sigonella AB around 12:30 CEST and after an half hour switched off its ADS-B transponder. The transponder was switched on after 4 hrs when the aircraft returned to Sicily.

The main goal of EUNAVFOR MED IRINI is to support the implementation of the arms embargo imposed by the UN Security Council to Libya.
