Third USAF flight to Libya

Also today, after the two flights during the weekend, we’ve tracked a USAF Boeing C-17A (reg. 09-9205 – callsign RCH223, the same aircraft and the same callsign as the last flights) which departed at 16:15 CEST from Ramstein, Germany, and headed for Libya.

The aircraft followed the same route as the last flights, avoiding Italian airspace, heading towards Benghazi.

The plane is currently on the ground at the Libyan airport. If it is like the last few times, after a little more than an hour of stop, it will leave Benghazi for Germany.
