Today an ATR P-72B (reg. MM62311- callsign I2311) of the Guardia di Finanza (Italian Customs) carried out a long mission around the southern part of Italy.

Taking off around 10:40 this morning from Pratica di Mare AB, the aircraft landed a little while ago (around 17:30) after almost seven hours of mission that led it to fly over the Adriatic, the Ionian and the southern Tyrrhenian Sea, with several orbits on presumed targets and even a touch & go at Lamezia Terme airport.

A demonstration of the aircraft’s goodness for the patrolling tasks that are required of it.
