Special flight from Congo

An Italian Air Force Boeing KC767A (reg. MM62226 – callsign IAM1430) is flying from Goma to Rome Ciampino carrying the bodies of the Italian ambassador Luca Attanasio, 43, and Italian military policeman Vittorio Iacovacci, 30, killed yesterday in Congo.

They were killed on Monday, with their Congolese driver, when their convoy was attacked at about 10:15 a.m. (0815 GMT) in an attempted kidnap near the town of Kanyamahoro, about 25 km (15 miles) north of the regional capital Goma
