This morning around 09:00 CET a NATO Northrop Grumman RQ-4D (MM-AV-SA0016) left Sigonella AB southbound. When the drone entered into Tripoli FIR its ADS-B trasnsponder was switched off.
Meanwhile an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62293 – callsign IAM1495) left Pratica di Mare AB southbound too. At 10:01 CET the aircraft entered into Tripoli FIR switching off its ADS-B transponder.
Both mission are now still in progress.
