“Poker” exercise for French Air Force

Today there is an intense military air activity over France:

• 3x Boeing C-135FR (735, 739, 740)
• 1x Boeing E-3C (204)
• 1x Airbus A332MRTT (041)

and

• 30x Dassault Rafale
• ?x Dassault Mirage 2000D
• ?x Dassault Mirage 2000-5

Every three months, dozens of French air force fighters, tankers and radar planes take off at bases across France, form up over the Atlantic Ocean then split up and practice penetrating air-defenses and dropping nuclear bombs on French soil: it’s the “Poker” exercise.

Usually this drill takes place at night but today, due to low air traffic, it will take place during the day time.
