Italian eyes on western Mediterranean Sea

On 5th October an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.500 CAEW made a long surveillance mission over western Mediterranean sea.

At 10:19 CEST an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.500 CAEW (reg. MM62293 – f/n IAM1495) left Pratica di Mare AB westbound. After an hour of flight the aricraft orbited between Sardinia and Balearic Islands for almost two hour then continued its flight westbound.

A second orbit was made between Spain and Algeria for an hour then the aircraft returned to Pratica di Mare AB when it landed at 16:49 after 6 hours and half after the departure.
