Unusual USAF flight in Libya

Share

Today we tracked a new flight of an USAF aircraft landing in Libya this morning. It was a Boeing C-17A (reg. 99-0169 – f/n RCH168) landed in eastern Libya, in Benghazi or nearby. The plane left Libya in the early afternoon eastbound.

What makes this flight unusual is that the American aircraft did not come, as usual, from the United Kingdom but probably came from a Gulf country.

However, it is not possible to say precisely from which country because almost both flights were made by the aircraft with the ADS-B transponder turned off.
