French Navy “XENON” IRINI mission

Today we tracked a patrol mission over the central Mediterranean Sea by a French Navy Dassault Falcon 50 (reg. 132, c/s XENON), which has departed from NAS Hyères in southern France. The mission was carried out as part of Operation IRINI.

The interesting thing is that we usually can’t track this type of flight because when the Falcon arrived in the area of operations it switched off the ADS-B transponder.

Today, however, we were able to follow him for a good period of time during his mission.

The aircraft was in the area for about three hours from 13:00 CEt to 16:00 CET, then it made a refuelling stop in Malta and it is now flying to France.
