New day for the Neptun Strike exercise. Today we’re tracking a couple of Italian Air Force Boeing KC-767A (reg. MM62228, MM62227) performing AAR missions over Ionian Sea.
Tankers area in flight with USN Boeing F/A-18 from the USS Truman and with Hellenic Air Force Lockheed Martin F-16.
In the first part of its mission MM62228 made a similar mission over the northern Adriatic Sea with, at least, 7 Italian Air Force F-2000As from Grosseto AB. We dont’ know (but it’s probable) if also in this second aprt of the mission other Italian assets are involved.
At the same time an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62293) is performing a surveillance mision between Sicily and Sardinia
