This morning we register several guests in Souda Bay, one of the main NATO naval bases in the Mediterranean.

The USNavy expeditionary fast transport vessel USNS Trenton (T-EPF-5) has been at the Cretan base for the last few days and has carried out a number of manoeuvres offshore.

The Royal Navy mine countermeasures vessel HMS Middleton (M34) is also a guest at the base and has carried out some exercises with other NATO naval units in recent days.

The Spanish Navy  air defence frigate “Blas de Lezo” (F102) is arriving in Suda in these minutes.
