New French AF Airbus on Libyan route

Since the Algerian government has banned French military planes from its airspace, the France-Central Africa routes have lengthened considerably.

On 4th december for the first time, a French military plane flew over Libya to go to Central Africa.

This morning a French Air Force Airbus A330MRTT (reg. F-UJCL – f/n CTM1047) departed Istres AB is taking the “Libyan route” for its flight to central Africa.
