This morning, after a long cruise in the Mediterranean, the task force of the Russian cruiser Marshall Ustinov was preparing to enter the Syrian port of Tartus (or at least appeared to be doing so).

At about 11:00 CET, when it was about 5 miles from the entrance of the port, the ship reversed course.

The last plotted position was at 15:13 CET when the Ustinov was south east of Cyprus proceeding westwards at about 19 knots.
