This afternoon we are tracking a CAP (Combat Air Patrol) conducted by USAF General Dynamic F-16s (the only figther trackable is reg. 89-2038, callsign VIPER51) that took off from Aviano AB.
The Vipers are flying over northern Romania.
Supporting US fighters is a USAF Boeing KC-135R (reg. 58-0018). Further south another USAF tanker, a McDonnel Douglas KC-10A (reg. 85-0032) , is in the air.
