Not only the Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW in action this morning over the eastern area of Romania, there are also other Italian aircraft carrying out similar missions in the same area:

  • USArmy Bombardier 600 ARTEMIS (reg. N488CR – callsign BRIO68) took off from Costanta
  • USNavy Lockheed EP-3E (reg. 16-1410) took off from Souda Bay AB
In these hours the Russian pressure on Odessa is increasing and probably these assets are monitoring the situation (also for the benefit of Ukrainian forces).
