New mission for an Italian CAEW

This morning at 11:30 CET an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62293 – f/n1495) left Pratica di Mare AB to carry out a new surveillance mission.

The aircraft has carried out the mission orbiting over northern Romania. The aircraft can monitor the whole of Moldova (with particular attention to the Russian-controlled region of Transinistria) and much of south-western Ukraine.

The CAEW now, 17:00 CET, after 4 hours in the mission area is in flight back to Pratica di Mare AB.
