The Swedish Air Force’s SIGINT aircraft missions are daily off Kaliningrad in the Baltic.
Today, however, a Swedish Air Force Gulfstream S102B ‘Korpen’ (reg. 102002) flew a very unusual mission over eastern Poland.
It orbited for about four hours near the border with Belarus and Ukraine, carrying out a surveillance mission that we usually see carried out by NATO assets.
This is not the first time that we have seen Korpen operating in an unusual area (we had also tracked it over the Mediterranean off Syria), but it is the first time that we have seen it engaged in Poland.
