First training mission for the new ItAF Gulfstream

First training mission for the Italian Air Force’s new Gulfstream G.550 (reg. MMMM62329, callsign PERSEO1).

The aircraft arrived in Italy on 7 March but since then we had not recorded any of its flights.

This morning it took off from Pratica di Mare AB and made a flight over northern Italy, a touch and go to Grosseto AB and is now returning to Pratica.

The aircraft will be equipped with sensors to carry out SIGINT missions but until then it will be used by Aeronatuica Militare for utility flights.
