HMS Audacious entered Mediterrranean Sea

The Royal Navy submarine HMS Audacious (S122) left Gibraltar yesterday and headed for the central Mediterranean.

The British submarine, during the stop in Gibraltar, has been loading Tomahawk cruise missiles

 In Gibraltar was berthed, the same time, the US navy submarine USS Georgia (SSGN-729), which was there after a deployment in the eastern Mediterranean.

HMS Audacious is an Astute-class nuclear-powered submarine. HMS Audacious, the fourth submarine in the class, was launched in April 2017. The submarine can be employed in a variety of important roles. These include covert intelligence gathering and strategic strike using the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile.
