In Gibraltar was berthed, the same time, the US navy submarine USS Georgia (SSGN-729), which was there after a deployment in the eastern Mediterranean.

HMS Audacious is an Astute-class nuclear-powered submarine. HMS Audacious, the fourth submarine in the class, was launched in April 2017. The submarine can be employed in a variety of important roles. These include covert intelligence gathering and strategic strike using the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile.
